Tap dance is a type of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. The sound is made by shoes that have a metal "tap plate" on the heel and toe of a dance shoe.

We offer tap classes to all ages and abilities. We prefer to place children where they are best suited based on ability rather than age groups. All our tap classes are on a Saturday and are offered from Pre-school beginners right through to Seniors advanced tap.

We also offer a boys only tap class taught by a male teacher on Tuesday nights. This class has been a great opportunity for boys to dance in a male dominant environment.

We are also pleased to be a part of the ATOD Tap Examination program. We introduced the program in 2017 and have had fantastic results thus far.
