Max was virtually born in a dance studio, and has gone on to become an accomplished performer, choreographer and teacher. Concurrently studying theatrically at Niche under the guidence of Julie Cookson, Max completed six years of study at the Victorian College Of The Arts, he was then accepted to study at the National Insitute of Circus Arts. This diverse range of specialist training has made him an incredibly versatile dancer with a broad skill base.
Max is head of Contemporary at Niche, runs the boys and foundation tap classes as well as the ATOD Tap extension program. You may also see him teaching classical privates or running an acrobatics or circus workshop. Professionally Max has danced in many genres beginning his career at the age of 8, tapping as a penguin for the opening of Happy Feet.
