WHO WE ARE

Niche Dance Studios (formerly East Ivanhoe School of Dance) opened in 1969 and was founded by Patricia Little. Principal Nichole Davis was her student from the age of 3, Nichole was employed to begin her teacher training from the age of 13 and took over the reins of the School in 1994.

 

We are located about 3 minutes from the centre of Ivanhoe in beautiful, light filled, purpose built studios. We are pleased to have a very dedicated team of specialist teachers and assistants working with Niche’s Principal Nichole Davis. We currently offer Group Classes as well as solo lessons in the following dance styles:

• Classical Ballet (Cecchetti Method) – general & syllabus classes from Pre-Primary to Diploma

• Contemporary

• Jazz – Theatrical, Broadway & Commercial

• Tap – traditional and commercial

• Hip Hop

• Acrobatics

• Boys Only

• Pre-school

• Musical Theatre

• Private Vocal Training

• Our fully equipped studios are also available for hire.

We’d love to provide more information about what’s on offer. One of the hallmarks of the team at Niche is to find the ‘perfect fit’ when it comes to a dance class or style for each and every student – we would be happy to extend this invitation to your child as well.

 

To receive our timetable, enrolment information, a uniform list, which includes grooming guidelines, and our pricelist, please contact us via the contact link at the top of the page. The timetable is subject to variation, but the day of the advertised class will not change. The timetable is subject to change as our primary goal is to teach dance the best way possible. This means our schedule is slightly fluid, allowing for us to cater to the individual needs of our students. They are Niche!
